Objective was to break the current XE SOAB(A) LP record, and obtain a claimed score of 1.5 Megs. I was so worried about the oncoming thunderstorm, on my right side window, that I started calling cq test one hour before the actual beginning! Then I realized my error when looking left my UTC clock. The first 2 hours were spent S&P on 20M, noticing that -despite the usual stateside wall, the big gun EU stations were very workable! Conditions were awesome and went to bed at 06:20z (01:20 AM local time). Late start at 15:00z alternating 20M and 15M The "magic moments" were on our late Saturday night, working JT5DX, V85TL. Notably, various JA's past our midnight on 15M and 10M!! Noticed a great increase on worked YB stations Surapassed the existing XE record at 0630z and went to bed shortly after wtih 925 QSO's on the log. Sunday morning the bad conditions were already on full swing, making the rest of the day very, very slow, with only 157 Q's more. it definitivaly tested my patience. At the end of the contest, my 1.34 Megs score surpassed the record, but could not obtaing the 1.5 Megs. despite the Sunday conditions, it was a memorable contest and personal best on this category. Many thanks for the Q's FT1000MP, Log Periodic Cushcraft ASL-2010 @ 27 meters, Twin Sloper Alpha Delta DX-A Software N1MM+ ---------------- Cabrillo Statistics (Version 10g) by K5KA & N6TV http://bit.ly/cabstat CALLSIGN: XE2B CONTEST: CQ-WPX-CW CATEGORY-OPERATOR: SINGLE-OP CATEGORY-TRANSMITTER: ONE OPERATORS: XE2B -------------- Q S O R a t e S u m m a r y --------------------- Hour 160 80 40 20 15 10 Rate Total Pct -------------------------------------------------------------------- 0000 0 0 0 35 0 0 35 35 3.3 0100 0 0 0 46 0 0 46 81 7.5 0200 0 0 0 92 0 0 92 173 16.1 0300 0 0 0 69 0 0 69 242 22.5 0400 0 0 8 23 0 0 31 273 25.4 0500 0 11 22 1 0 0 34 307 28.6 0600 0 0 12 2 0 0 14 321 29.9 0700 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 321 29.9 0800 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 321 29.9 0900 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 321 29.9 1000 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 321 29.9 1100 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 321 29.9 1200 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 321 29.9 1300 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 321 29.9 1400 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 321 29.9 1500 0 0 0 7 49 1 57 378 35.2 1600 0 0 0 0 27 0 27 405 37.7 1700 0 0 0 21 15 7 43 448 41.7 1800 0 0 0 12 4 1 17 465 43.3 1900 0 0 0 12 10 0 22 487 45.3 2000 0 0 0 41 0 0 41 528 49.1 2100 0 0 0 14 0 0 14 542 50.4 2200 0 0 0 0 10 0 10 552 51.3 2300 0 0 0 49 1 0 50 602 56.0 0000 0 0 0 82 0 0 82 684 63.6 0100 0 0 9 18 0 0 27 711 66.1 0200 0 0 0 11 36 0 47 758 70.5 0300 0 0 0 16 25 0 41 799 74.3 0400 0 0 0 51 3 3 57 856 79.6 0500 0 1 14 24 4 0 43 899 83.6 0600 0 1 12 8 0 0 21 920 85.6 0700 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 920 85.6 0800 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 920 85.6 0900 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 920 85.6 1000 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 920 85.6 1100 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 920 85.6 1200 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 920 85.6 1300 0 0 3 0 0 0 3 923 85.9 1400 0 0 0 10 0 0 10 933 86.8 1500 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 933 86.8 1600 0 0 0 20 2 1 23 956 88.9 1700 0 0 0 25 4 0 29 985 91.6 1800 0 0 0 0 30 6 36 1021 95.0 1900 0 0 0 7 4 1 12 1033 96.1 2000 0 0 0 4 0 1 5 1038 96.6 2100 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 1038 96.6 2200 0 0 0 18 0 0 18 1056 98.2 2300 0 0 0 19 0 0 19 1075 100.0 ------------------------------------------------------ Total 0 13 80 737 224 21 1075 Gross QSOs=1082 Dupes=7 Net QSOs=1075 Unique callsigns worked = 904 The best 60 minute rate was 108/hour from 0218 to 0317 The best 30 minute rate was 118/hour from 0226 to 0255 The best 10 minute rate was 126/hour from 0236 to 0245 The best 1 minute rates were: 4 QSOs/minute 2 times. 3 QSOs/minute 37 times. 2 QSOs/minute 160 times. 1 QSOs/minute 636 times.
