Pretty good! I know I heard NN7SS in there on 20 and 40 but never got him, and
N6ZFO was plenty loud on 20 but I was always out of phase. Got as far west as
John CO on 80, in a couple weeks greyline might include CA for 80.

Wildly ill-prepared and out of practice, the late start didn't help, and no one
could hear me on 80. But that one qso was a hoot so I'll be back for more next
week. Cheers!

Qualified success but this event needs to be pushed more.

Sri for QLF's . . eventually got things straightened out. At some point
noticed I was running 25 w on 40 meters.

Will miss next week due to trip to W1. Hope others will talk this up among
RTTY friends. Heard only one non-NS regular, so a bit disappointing.

Heard a few weak sigs on 80m no luck with n0ta in closing moments. W7OM was

Hopefully it was a decent turnout tonight. Sigs seemed light so hard to gauge.

Tried to get 2tone going for this one, but did not get to it in tome. Hope to
try that next week.

Up in WA for two weeks. All the setup seemed to be working,
but at 01:55 the computer locked up and wouldn't respond. It
wouldn't even take Ctrl-Alt-Del. I had to pull the power plug
to restart. It took until 01:59 to restart and get the MMTTY
window back up. I made a last desperate call to N6RO on 80m -
and he couldn't hear me... I'll leave the software running
to see if I can figure out which program is the culprit.

So, 20m and 40m carried the load, too early for 80m with still
an hour before sunset.

NN7SS Burt WA (K6UFO op)

20m: C-31XR at 71ft, 3el Steppir at 40 ft
40m: Force 12 Delta 240 at 78ft
80m: Delta Loop from 70 ft
Two Kenwood TS-590s turned down to 5 watts

Pitiful! A lot of my regulars were missing.
W6SX   Single Op LP   3302013-09-05 20:09:34
A very good inaugural RTTY NS Ladder. Lots of fun. Everyone invited for next
week--you'll have a blast.

K3, wire antenna at 46 feet with Matchboxes, MMTTY, 2Tone, N1MM.
N6RO   Single Op LP   3362013-09-05 21:00:31
Fair turnout, mostly actives from the previous practice sessions. 15m open to
midwest and east but little activity. I missed a few actives on 20m, 40 was
good, 80m - sun too high to get out of CA but printed N0TA.

Revised score, deleting 15m QSOs.

Force of habit, my mind on the antenna project and medication for surgery
earlier in the day blurred my following the new ladder rules. Sri abt. that.

Missed the CW session as I was needed to help finish today's tower/ant work by
Tower Busters (K6NA, K7NV): New prop-pitch rotor on one 20m beam, new 6m 7L
LFA installed at 90'.

CU in CW NA Sprint Sat. and both NS next Thur.

See you in the NA.
