Sorry for the QLFs but Murphy struck. Rig worked just fine for my XYL in WPX
RTTY but today the G5RV will not tune on 40 and RF is getting into the computer
locking up the keyboard, sending the same macro voer and over. Very frustrating.

Unfortunately nothing worked on 20.. heard a couple but too weak.

40 had some lovely signals and the last 10 minutes had loud sigs from NA. great
to see and work a few.
80 was way down than what it has been the last few weeks.
Most likely due to the antennas being in the low position.

Hope to see you at 0300.. i will be on for the first time in a good while.

KF6NCX   Single Op LP   302018-02-14 21:40:41
Sure wish I could do better than this. Partly, I want to blame the propagation.
There aren't that many strong signals, it seems. And stations with weak signals
t my QTH couldn't hear me. Today the bands were nice and quiet, especially 15
and 20. With a little luck, I would have made a contact or two on 15, but I
didn't have that luck.

I'll hope for a better showing next week. At any rate, thanks for the Qs and 73!

Just before the contest there were no signals on 20. Started on 40. There were
only 8 signals showing on the scope. Pretty slow start. At 1919Z went to 20.
There was lots of activity, but the rate never got high. At 1952 went back to
20. Lots of signals. Having two radios would have given me a better band
change time.
